MILLING

Milling is a process that uses belts or grinding stones (carborundum or large grain diamond, rough thread), to eliminate the sharp edges of a glass plate. After the roughness has been eliminated from the edges, these are polished using a fine-grained diamond mill or powdered pumice (polished thread).
