SANDBLASTING

SANDBLASTING

Glass sandblasting involves the projection of abrasive sand, through a jet of compressed air on a glass plate, which then becomes opalescent after the treatment. This technique can be performed in "zones", so as to obtain special aesthetic effects. Sandblasted glass is used to eliminate the transparency of interior glass, without obstructing the passage of light. By mixing sandblasted zones with transparent zones, it is possible to create valuable decorations.
